**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Inside Sales leader to join our B2B Sales Team. As the national head of our Inside Sales function, you will be responsible for leading telephone-based account managers and outbound campaign specialists across Australia. Your core objective will be the delivery of annual revenue and contribution targets.
Beyond day-to-day leadership of the team, you will develop and implement a consistent, national Inside Sales strategy and associated, annual sales plans, which continually improve performance of the Inside Sales function. Your work will take into account overall business direction, key strategic requirements and long-term commercial objectives.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Development, measurement and continual improvement of team productivity metrics
- Proactively lead and empower the teams to encourage operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Coach and develop the future leaders in the team.
- Delegate responsibility and authority to ensure effective, commercially viable decisions in the interests of driving customer satisfaction
- Set high standards and lead by example in delivery and accountability for positive customer outcomes
**About you**:
- Significant Inside Sales leadership experience
- Outstanding, broader B2B sales leadership experience, preferably within the SME market.
- Significant experience of balanced target setting, accurate forecasting and sales achievement against plan
- Demonstratable experience in building, reporting, maintaining and continually improving the quality of sales pipelines (eg volume, value, win rates and pipeline velocity)
- Strong experience in coaching & developing individuals in the sales team as well as identify the next generation of leaders in the team
- A high level of sophistication around best practice sales strategy and processes but a with a preparedness to be hands-on working with their team to deliver results
- A proven ability to operate with agility and a continuous improvement mindset with a record of managing and delivering change
- Excellent sales forecasting skills complemented with advanced written and verbal communication skills
