We are looking for empathetic and experienced Disability Support Workers who are passionate about supporting others to achieve their life goals and can help our clients to thrive. This role involves providing active support for our clients within their home or out in the community to develop independence and friendships. This includes supporting and encouraging our client to participate in a range of day-to-day activities based on their hobbies, interests and goals set within their NDIS support plan. While performing the duties of this role, you will be respectful of their culture, privacy and dignity.

We have a variety of shifts available including afternoons, weekends, nights (sleep over and active night shifts) and public holidays. Shifts will involve personal care, capacity building through hobbies and skills development, domestic responsibilities and community access.

**Skills and experience required to be successful in this role**:

- Must be willing to do a variety of shifts and travel
- Medication endorsement
- Experience with all aspects of personal care
- Experience working/ willing to work with clients who have behaviours of concern, and understanding / implementing Behaviour Support Plans
- Experience working in the Disability or Aged Care sector
- Driver’s Licence
- Working with Vulnerable People card with NDIS endorsement
- Right to work in Australia
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Training Certificate
- Current First Aid & CPR

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Daily Living and accessing the Community
- Meal Planning/Meal Managment
- Transportation
- Medication Assist

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
