We are working with a highly reputable insurance organisation which is seeking to expand their Sydney Income Protection claims team. You will join an organisation which provides long term opportunity and a great team focused inclusive environment.

At present we are seeking a number of experienced Claims Consultants from Life Insurance or another injury claims background (Workers Compensation, Personal Injury). These opportunities will suit someone who is passionate about claims and customer focused.

Key Responsibilities
- End to end manage of a portfolio of income protections claims
- Actively manage the reserve while assessing all the relevant medical information
- Build strong lasting relationships with clients and claimants
- Providing strategies to assist the claimants return to work
- Proactively liaising with all relevant parties including all allied health professionals
- Claim and peer reviews

Essential Requirements
- Proven ability to effectively manage a portfolio of injury claims
- Claims management experience in Life Insurance, Workers Compensation, Personal Injury or Superannuation
- Sound understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Genuine desire to help people through the injury and recovery process
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced ever changing environment
