We're looking for a** Production Operator **to join the team based in Ingleburn, NSW on a full-time basis and will report to Production Team Leader. Under the supervision of PPG Traffic Solutions, you will work on plant machinery, may clean, prep, inspect, lift, and move materials, or other manufacturing plant requirements. You will also ensure productivity, quality, operational responsibilities, housekeeping, and EHS standards are being followed. **Responsibilities** - Oversee machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators. - Clean plant, totes, and other plant areas per standards. - Perform work processing including inspecting, wrapping, or packaging products. - Load and unload items from machines and conveyors. - Ensure produced goods meet quality standards. - Ensure daily equipment inspections are completed before startup. - Ensure equipment calibration checks are conducted. - Ensure that all quality and EHS procedures are being followed per plant requirements. - Must comply with all PPE requirements including wearing full face mask where required. **Requirements**: **Education/Experience**: - High School or Year 10 Graduate desired, but not required. - Manufacturing experience desired, but not required. - Ability to read English instructions, record information in written form. - Ability to perform basic addition/subtraction calculations. **Physical Demands**: - Occasionally lift or move up to 20 Kg per plant standards. - Ability to remain standing for extended periods of time. - Overtime and several working hours may be required. **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** We are insightful, dedicated, and proactive.
