Cogent Resources is a long established and reputable supplier of quality staff to manufacturing and logistics businesses within Australia.

We are currently seeking a Production Floor Operator to join our client's fast-paced food manufacturing team in Ingleburn who specialise in confectionary items. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and efficiency.

Afternoon Shift: 3pm - 11pm (Monday - Friday) - On going hours

This role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Operate and monitor confectionery production machinery
  • Maintain consistent product quality by following production specifications
  • Conduct basic equipment checks, cleaning, and routine maintenance
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate when necessary
  • Follow workplace health & safety procedures and food safety standards
  • Complete relevant production paperwork and reporting
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets
  • Operating a high-reach forklift (6 racks high)
  • Operating a counterbalance forklift
  • Palletising & Staging
  • Unloading and loading trucks

Desired skills and experience:

  • Valid LF license
  • Ability to stack to a minimum of 6 racks high
  • Drive in racking experience (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 12 months experience operating a forklift  Ability to comply with GMP protocols
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
