**Job Overview**

The GM of TerraCycle Australia & New Zealand is responsible for enabling the company to scale for next-level growth by managing all aspects of the business: vision-setting, team management, brand, retail, operations, and budgeting in their respective region. The GM is an experienced, results-driven and dynamic leader who can direct and manage TerraCycle’s diverse business activities, and to evolve advanced plans and to guide the implementation and progress effective business strategies and programs.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Own P&L responsibility, including overseeing the regional budget, setting benchmarking to reach financial goals, and ensuring that all stakeholders are held accountable to KPI’s.
- Manage and coach direct reports (Departmental head), inspiring performance and results.
- Develop regional vision and strategy and facilitate collaboration among departments and lines of business.
- Cultivate an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale.
- Represent the company in front of strategic partners, clients, investors and media(keynoting major conferences, speaking at events / on radio and television).
- Identify current and potential brand partners to sell / grow TerraCycle collection and recycling programs across lines of business regionally
- Drive productivity and efficiency of product operations.
- Understand company and regional operational processes and strategies for storage and recycling.
- Directly and persuasively communicate regional Company updates and needs to the C-suite.
- Champion the development, implementation and continuous improvement of a range of organizational management practices and tools to ensure Company optimization.

**Requirements**:
**Desired Qualifications**
- 15+ years’ experience in agency, CPG, or retail
- 10+ years’ experience in a senior management position
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, partners, and employees
- Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Ability to set matrixed strategies, while also being adaptable to change
- Strong listening and cross-functional collaboration skills, across all levels
- Proven ability to execute complex projects and negotiations
- Timeline-driven with a strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Proven record of managing large, diverse teams
- Inspirational public speaking skills and educated believer in sustainability
- Comfort and experience working in an entrepreneurial environment where innovation is a key to success.
