**About the role**
The General Manager will have real autonomy to further develop the strategies for growth across the Foundation.

We are looking for an innovative, dynamic, and passionate leader with an appetite to build the strategy for growth and further impact. We are searching for that motivational someone to inspire a small team of professionals to truly make an impact.

With the backing of your CEO and board, you will be empowered to develop a strategy and business plan that is focused on long term, sustainable impact.

You will focus on a number of core areas, including:

- Enhancing and developing our Access and Support Coordination Function - you will lead a small professional team providing services to individuals looking for NDIS access and then managing plans through support coordination.
- You will work in collaboration with the Head of Philanthropy to build a successful Fundraising programme across individual giving, community fundraising, philanthropy, and partnerships.
- You will develop new services that provide support to individuals through outreach programs, educational programs and research.
- Build and strengthen collaboration with various stakeholders, including government agencies, service providers, and local businesses to enhance our services and ensure that we can address the diverse needs of our clients.
- You will build brand awareness of the Foundation through marketing, events and communication activity.

You will be someone that rolls their sleeves up and is involved in all areas of achieving right through to being comfortable presenting to business partners, participants and clients, senior leaders and the Board.

**About you**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration,, or a related field.
- Proven successful experience of 10+ Years in a leadership role, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Experience in the delivery of Access and Support Coordination functions within the disability sector, with a comprehensive understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
- Strong understanding of charity based nonprofit operations, governance, fundraising, and compliance.
- An innovator with a passion for developing new Fundraising products and growing revenue channels.
- Knowledge of marketing communication tools and the ability to develop both digital and traditional channels
- A data led decision maker who can manage and develop CRMs.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations.
- Demonstrated financial acumen and experience in budgeting, financial management and grant writing. Experience in setting and achieving revenue targets through a diverse range of services.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders.
