Facto is partnering with a global organisation to help them secure a Technical Release Manager. This is a permanent position and will be working full-time with an end client.
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Release Manager to join their team. As a pioneer in their field, they are relentless in the pursuit of excellence, and innovation is embedded into every aspect of their business. The role will be focused on building a regular cadence for releases and relieving the regression testers from being overloaded with testing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, migrate, manage and coordinate a formal release cadence
- Conduct meetings with internal technology teams to create transparency of release status, risks, and constraints
- Ensure the communication of releases to stakeholders is accurate and on a regular cadence
- Train and introduce Sprints and story points to teams
- Manage technology team releases, providing weekly updates and ensuring alignment of releases
- Mapping, tracking and reporting on Jira Epic/Story/Task/Defect per release
- Work with Project Managers to provide Scenario Plans for any new Product requests
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
About you:
- Minimum 5 years of experience providing ICT Release Management in an ITIL operational or engineering environment
- ITIL Certified
- Experience in running a team with regular cadence (e.g. sprints/retros, planning) and keeping them on track
- Strong Confluence & Jira knowledge
- Microsoft Product suite
- MS Project/PWA (Project Web Access)
- Familiar with different project methodologies, Agile, Scaled Agile, Lean / Six Sigma, Waterfall
