Release Manager Fintech

**Role and responsibilities**
- Responsible for maintaining a release calendar in conjunction with the Technology team
- Coordinate key stakeholders for all BVT and UAT sessions
- Work closely with the Knowledge Manager and other stakeholders to create and maintain release notes, change management communications and planned releases from the roadmap
- Deliver updates to the business on the delivery of all major and minor releases across various environments and JIRA boards
- Participate in testing sessions as required, to support minor releases owned by the Support division
- Assist the Support division with bug testing/verification through delivery of fixes, as well as
- New Feature/Change Request triaging
- Collaborate with the technology team (including QAs and BAs) ensuring environment readiness for testing (test cases criteria, logging test results, test accounts and configuration requirements)
- Participate in numerous technology team meetings as required
- Manage and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including regular updates, GO/NO-GO decisions on major releases, obtain signoffs and overlay relevant risks to key stakeholders to ensure production stability, performance, and reliability
**Role requirements**
- 5-8 Years of experience with majority in Release Management
- 4 Years of experience with tools like Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Scheduling tools
- Knowledge of CI/CD Processes and associated tooling
- Experience working with agile release cycles
- Excellent Communication skills and ability to communicate with Technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in the Financial Services industry is beneficial
- Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / Bachelor of Engineering /related discipline.
