**The Role**
Your role:
1. Communications and Marketing - in close cooperation with defence marketing, develop and deploy multi-channel communication and marketing.

2. Pursuit Planning and Delivery, Land, Sea and Air:

- Develop and execute pursuit campaigns.
- Establish and lead campaigns, ensuring that complete integrated sales team are established.
- Ensure that the full Defence enterprise is properly leveraged for the campaigns.
- Support the sales campaign teams.

3. Broader team duties may include:

- Support EL1’s in the development, implementation and evaluation of communications and marketing strategies.
- Assist in the planning of strategic events, trade exhibitions that promote Australian defence exports.
- Maintain close working relationships with internal stakeholders and external industry representatives.
- Track and report on the performance of campaigns and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Understanding of strategic communications and government marketing practices
- Develop and implement communication strategies that align with the ADSSO’s objectives to promote Australian defence capabilities internationally.
- Other duties as required.

**About our Team**
The APS6 team will provide a critical role in establishing, supporting strategic direction and operational delivery of the Australian Defence Strategic Sales Office (ADSSO). The ADSSO is a strategic priority for Department of Defence enabling a stronger and more resilient Australian defence industry. These positions will lead the ADSSO across policy, market intelligence, market awareness and domain specific (land, sea and air) sales campaigns activities. These roles require strong policy acumen, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to provide strategic advice to support the alignment of government, Defence, and industry interests. Importantly these roles will require day-to-day engagements with Senior Industry stakeholders. These roles drive day-to-day strategic sales activities in close partnership with industry.
