This well-known Government Agency requires a Procurement Specialist to join their team at a great rate of pay. This job is located in Sydney CBD (southern end) and offers hybrid working flexibility.
**Your new role**
In your new position, you will be assist in developing and implementing category management plans and strategies to deliver value for money and meet stakeholder needs and expectations. You will develop, co-ordinate and lead sourcing activities. You will analyse business needs and supply markets to inform category planning and sourcing. You will provide governance advice and guidance to internal stakeholders. You will provide support for pricing reviews and contract re-negotiation. You will plan and lead contract negotiations and you will manage and mitigate procurement risks.
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be considered for this role, you will have procurement experience and excellent negotiation skills. You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You will have a good understanding of NSW procurement framework and managing procurement in a Government context.
**What you'll get in return**
In return you will get an immediately available 1 year temporary Procurement Specialist role. You will be based in Sydney CBD (southern end). Hybrid working is also available for this position.
