**Your new company**

Our client is an industry leading, tier one resources and mining organisation seeking a Procurement Specialist for a hybrid role working in Brisbane, with the requirement to travel to site (QLD on a periodic basis).

**Your new role**

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Development of strategies, undertake sourcing, execute new contracts and manage contract variations
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with remotely based stakeholders
- Liaise with other teams within Procurement on collaborative tendering strategies that deliver spend aggregation benefits.
- Manage the documentation and review / approval process for the execution of variation / amendment requests for contracts to company guidelines.
- Selection of appropriate contract templates and negotiation of deviations to standard terms to reach an acceptable risk outcome to the business.
- Escalate contractual issues to relevant stakeholders and coordinate the resolution process including the facilitation and resolution of issues arising from claims, invoicing and rebates.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Developed experience in small construction project sourcing/contract management experience - preferably in mining/O&G environment/Infrastructure
- Experienced in pre-contract procurement and post-contract/contract admin experience during project execution is advantageous
