An exciting job share opportunity has arisen for a manager within VCAT's Regional Services Team. Working 3 days a week, you will lead a dynamic team who work from multiple metropolitan and regional venues across Victoria.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Community Access Services, you will support and develop VCAT's Regional Services Team in the provision of accessible services to the Victorian community. You will ensure that VCAT's venues are resourced to conduct in-person and remote hearings, as well as providing assistance to members of the public who attend our venues. This is a demanding and challenging role in a unique service delivery environment.
You will be joining VCAT at an exciting time as we work through our service transformation project delivering enhanced digital service and building an empowered and capable workforce who are receptive and ready for change.
About the role
- Manage a team of staff working at VCAT venues across metropolitan and regional Victoria
- Manage resource requirements and allocate staff across all venues as required
- Handle escalations and resolve issues to support the delivery of VCAT community service functions
- Travel to VCAT venues to provide support to your team and VCAT users
- Work closely with a wide stakeholder group across VCAT and Court Services Victoria
- Develop and implement improvement initiatives to enhance the provision of VCAT services
About you
- Experience in managing people across multiple locations, providing face-to-face and remote support to your team
- Demonstrated experience in a dynamic service delivery environment
- An ability to ‘think on your feet' and quickly resolve any issues that may arise
- Previous experience in developing activities to deliver process/service improvements
- Demonstrated experience in successfully working with and influencing senior staff and stakeholders
