At the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, VCAT, our role is to provide fair, affordable justice. We do this by helping people to reach an agreement and settle their case, or we make a decision at a hearing that everyone involved must follow.
We are on a service transformation mission to become a contemporary and accessible tribunal which anticipates the diverse needs of the Victorian Community.
We are introducing agile ways of working, a new case management system and making it easier for the community to engage with us every day. As we continue to modernise the way we work, we are looking for an experienced Change Manager to design and deliver change management activities in support of our transformation.
Key responsibilities
The Change Manager will work closely with a Senior Change Manager to develop and implement program change plans and sub-plans including, stakeholder engagement plans, training plans, impact assessments and transition plans.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Plan and implement effective stakeholder engagement actions to drive understanding among impacted teams, influencing positive acceptance of change across the operations staff and members
- Conduct change impact assessments, identify mitigants and gain buy in of change impact assessment findings
- Manage impacted stakeholder groups across the project
- Develop and oversee the implementation of tailored stakeholder change plans
- Support the development of communications relevant to project change initiatives
- Support the development of the training schedule for process and system change training
- Provide reporting and other updates to the program team as required
About you
You are a Change Manager with a bias for taking action and building strong working relationships with impacted users and program teams. You will be actively involved in developing change impact assessments, gaining buy-in of changes from stakeholders about changes and tailoring change activities as required.
You are someone that thrives in a changing, fluid environment who is passionate about delivering outcomes that help VCAT deliver on its strategic priorities. A can-do attitude and positive mindset are what you are known for, and you are comfortable working with direction and autonomously as required.
You will be based in our Melbourne CBD office with an option for hybrid working.
**To be successful, you will have**:
- At least 5 years' experience in change management related roles within complex operating environments
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, tools, and methodologies
- Experience with driving change in a green field change and program environment
- Experience in digital and system implementation change, ideally in an agile environment
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships across the organisation and with program team members
