About the role
This part time role (2 days per week) supports members of the Victorian Koori community coming to VCAT by providing referrals to relevant services that can assist them in relation to a range of sensitive and complex cultural issues - as they relate to accessing civil justice.
Encourages preparation activities that help Koori people attend VCAT hearings and achieve justice outcomes.
About you
- As a caring people person who loves to help solve problems, join our Koori Support team and help educate the Koori community to access their civil justice options
- Work one day per week in a VCAT venue location (Oakleigh and Frankston are options) where the Koori community can access you for in-person support and information. Work from home for one day (of the two days required) each week, may also be negotiated.
- Use your Koori engagement experience and be part of delivering progressive changes as VCAT increases its' culturally safe spaces and options for Koori people when at VCAT
