We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the newly established Conference and Events Logistics Team Leader role in our Conference and Events Operations department. As a key member of our team, you will provide logistics assistance to the Conference and Events team in conjunction with Purchasing, to ensure a safe and efficient set-up, bump in and bump out for all events held across the hotel. **What you'll be doing**: - Work with the Meeting and Events team and the Conference and Events Operations team to ensure a safe and efficient event set-up - Assist with risk assessments and oversee logistics operations to ensure all high-risk activities, employees and contractors are compliant with Work Health and Safety requirements - Liaise with Purchasing to coordinate all inbound and outbound freight and deliveries for events. **Qualifications** - Flexibility to commence work early from 5:30AM - Weekend availability, as weekends are our peak operational periods - Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification - Strong knowledge of food service, event set-ups and event equipment requirements - Demonstrated ability in planning - Some purchasing experience, including knowledge of how to resource products. - High level of ability in the use of various technology. **Additional Information** We live by our Heartist principles, that is, we embrace the essence of the heart and art of human connection.
