Job Purpose

The purpose of the Warehouse Operator role is to support the Warehouse Supervisor in the coordination, control, storage and distribution of LivaNova Perfusion Tubing Packs, Finished Goods, Capital and Spare Parts to customer specification and regulatory compliance for the storage and handling of medical devices, in accordance with organization policies and procedures and Australian Medical Device Regulations, ISO9001 and/or other relevant statutory requirements.

This position provides strong support to the sales and service team by ensuring deliveries are dispatched on time and quality standards are met. It also provides support to the Australian Operations team with constant communication with supply and production to ensure components are available for production builds.

Essential Job Functions
- Ensure highest levels of customer service through world class On Time Delivery and Back Order performance.
- Manage all aspects of the inward/outward goods processes, for example:

- Receive and count stock items, and record data using WMS and ERP
- Picking and packing of customer orders
- Dispatch and transport
- Shipping manufactured goods to contract sterilization and back to site
- Ensure the MRP (scrap / defective material) are returned to suppliers
- Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse, storing items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse and associated areas.
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
- Mark stock items using identification labelling.
- Ensure high level of inventory accuracy through following best practice warehouse transactions and cycle counting of materials.
- Housekeeping and warehouse storage levels maintained to medical device industry standards.
- Manage freight providers to quality, service and cost requirements.
- Compliance with all regulatory and company policies and standards.
- Communication to sales and service teams on dispatch of samples, capital equipment and service components.
- Bag and label raw materials into smaller quantities and place on warehouse shelf for storage and production use.
- Seek to continuously improve Warehouse performance through adoption of LivaNova Business System tools and processes.
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with Occupational, Health and Safety
- Maintain accurate data on the Exact computer system with a view to continually

developing and streamlining the processes. Manage stock on a computerised database (FIFO) basis
- Actively participate in company meetings, annual stock-take and training as required from time to time.
- As an ambassador of LivaNova, uphold its' policies and values both inside and outside the organisation.

Minimum requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor degree or equivalent. Minimum year 10 secondary education.
- Victorian Forklift Drivers Licence and Motor Vehicle Licence is required.
- 2 - 3 years’ experience as a warehouse operator
- Effective team player
- Good computer skills. Capable in use of MS Office suite.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Accuracy Oriented.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.

Desired Skills
- Experience in medical devices in pharmaceutical industry. As a minimum experience within highly regulated industry.
- Tertiary qualifications in warehousing, logistics and transport will be highly regarded.
- Experience in a clean room environment will also be highly regarded.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of quality management techniques.
