Job Description

- Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.

- Oversee inventory management, including stock control and order fulfilment.

- Implement and maintain safety and compliance standards within the warehouse.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.

- Coordinate with the logistics team to streamline supply chain processes.

- Analyse and improve warehouse processes to enhance performance and reduce costs.

- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of warehouse activities.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Warehouse Operations Manager should have:

- Proven experience in warehouse management within the transport and distribution industry.

- Proven experience working in a multi customer site.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.

- Commitment to maintaining high safety and compliance standards.

- Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.

- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and software.

- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience working with Dangerous Goods and chemicals will be an added advantage.
