Exciting Part Time opportunity for a talented Finance Officer to join a growing professional services business. Temporary to Permanent.

**The Company**

Our client is seeking an Accounts Officer with experience to join their growing professional services organisation. Based conveniently just off St Kilda Rd with great public transport links. The business fully embraces hybrid working and you will be given plenty of freedom to structure your week as needed. The business has grown steadily over the last 10 years & this role has come about due to an internal promotion. This means you will have a lengthy handover & access to the manager who has done this role herself for the last 3-4 years. The office has a fun, friendly and relaxed environment & would suit someone who enjoys been social / having a laugh while getting their work done.

**The Role**

Your role will largely be responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable, Receivable & Payroll Administration duties. The role will require roughly 15 hours per week & the client is happy for this to be split over 2 or 3 days. There is a lot of flexibility over which days / hours you work, with the only requirement been available to work every second Monday for their fortnightly pay run. This role will be structured as a temporary to permanent engagement & the client will endeavour to make permanent as soon as she is confident with your abilities / performance.

You will be responsible for:

- Processing Invoices
- Prepare Payment Runs
- Bank Reconciliations
- Raising Invoices
- Billing
- Credit Control
- Payroll Administration
- Supplier Queries
- Support Manager with Ad-Hoc Tasks

**Your Profile**

You will have experience with Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable tasks from your prior roles. The client is less concerned with your Payroll abilities and is happy to train, although any prior Payroll experience would be advantageous. Any exposure to XERO would be useful, but again client is willing to train here. A positive attitude is a must for this role as the business has worked hard to develop a welcoming and inclusive culture that they wish to maintain.
