Are you looking for your next role in Finance? We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, diligent individual to join our Settlements Team. As the NOW Finance Settlements Officer, you will be responsible for the management and verification of loan documentation and funding of consumer closed-end personal loans. NOW Finance loans are introduced and submitted by our Direct Sales, Broker and Retail channels. You will have an understanding of the underwriting and settlements and most importantly have excellent stakeholder engagement.

You will also be responsible for assisting the Credit Team, whilst building and strengthening relationships with our introducers. Our aim is to ensure we deliver the best financial solution for our customers whilst ensuring NOW Finance’s underwriting and settlement guidelines are adhered to at all times.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

- Management and verification of loan documentation for Settlement
- Detect issues and anomalies such as fraud
- Manage daily work volumes and settlement times
- 100% adherence to policy and relevant legislation
- Build positive relationships with all stakeholders
- Provide service within determined SLAs to give a positive customer experience
- Assist in building a positive team environment through teamwork
- Be innovative, always looking for ways to improve our processes
- Completion of Welcome Calls with NOW Finance customers

Do you have the skills and attributes below?
- Experience in a credit/settlements role (preferred but not essential)
- Understanding of the current Financial Services legislation
- Be customer-centric and have proven experience in a customer service role
- Understanding of the National Consumer Credit Protection (NCCP) Act and associated legislation
- Strong working knowledge of AML and Responsible Lending
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent people and stakeholder management skills

**Salary**: $68,250.00 per year
