**The Opportunity**
This role is within our Australian sales team. We have a strong and innovative customer base in Energy and Water who are looking to Gentrack to drive and support their customer strategies. The Customer Business Executive (CBE) ultimately owns the account relationship and how we provide this drive and support. Success in this role is defined by creating a true partnership relationship with Gentrack’s
customers by developing a deep understanding of our customers business and strategic vision.
Key elements to this role also include building relationships across our customer’s
organisation, understanding and working to budget cycles as well as building strong business case and value propositions for our customer.
**The Specifics**
- Own the relationship between Gentrack and our customers, setting this out in a strategy that maps how Gentrack's solutions will support the customers’
business and vision.
- Lead Gentrack teams who will work to support you in developing and implementing strategy.
- Own account reporting, profitability and ensure we have the right level of governance
and visibility across the account and projects.
- Manage and execute product presentations, value propositions and bids as required.
- Develop, execute, and lead account strategies,
forecasts and product roadmap insights.
- Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with key partners and alliances that are important to your customers.
- Indirect leadership of bid teams and sales teams such as Gentrack’s professional services teams, solution architects, pre-sales and executive roles who contribute to account plans.
**What**we're** looking for**(you don’t need to be a guru at all,
we’re looking forward to coaching and collaborating with you):
- You have a genuine interest in understanding our customers’
business and advocating for them.
- You can understand a customer’s goals and objectives and translate our solutions into a value proposition to support those.
- You can align value and price to structure creative commercial offers then lead, guide and motivate the team that will help you deliver for our customers.
- At least 3 years utility industry experience with an established network in Energy Retail, Distribution and/or
Water or at least 3 years working for an enterprise software solutions vendor within utilities.
- Someone who steps up proactively to take responsibility and when given the opportunity to lead teams and people.
- You are a team player, where the success of your other sales team members is as important as individual success, with a team environment that encourages sharing and constant learning.
