The Role
The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the successful execution of the City Campus Project, ensuring the program remains on track to achieve operational readiness by Semester 1, 2026.
A primary focus of this position is supporting the program and project managers to deliver several critical, complex, and large-scale initiatives, including detailed planning, scheduling, and reporting.
In addition, this position will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and effectively communicated. The role involves aligning various interdependent workstreams to ensure seamless coordination and successful project outcomes through to completion.
The Project Coordinator will embody and champion the required project outcomes while exemplifying ECU’s core values: integrity, respect, courage, rational enquiry, and personal excellence.
Key Criteria
Experience in large-scale projects and developing operating and service models, and deployment of operational transition support (hypercare).
Strong organisational skills with the ability to track multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail in document management, reporting, and compliance tracking.
Strong communication skills to support stakeholder engagement and project coordination.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing structured support to the project team.
Familiarity with one or more project/program management methodologies (such as PMI, PMBOK, PRINCE2, Scrum, and MSP)
Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet)
Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, fixed-term position attracts remuneration of $100,512 to $112,622 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
