ECU has embarked on a significant opportunity to expand the higher education and international student sector in Western Australia, through the ECU City Campus. ECU City will deliver a world-class Creative Industries, Business and Technology precinct in the heart of Perth’s CBD.
The Educational Experience Project has been established to deliver a whole-of-institution approach to active learning pedagogies across ECU’s physical and digital learning environments in all modes and locations, with a focus on preparing staff for delivery in the new City Campus.
The Role
The Engagement Coordinator will deliver a comprehensive communications and engagement strategy for the Educational Experience Project. They will be responsible for managing the content calendar and delivery of communications strategy, producing copy and other materials for communications and engagement activities, creating materials including tip sheets, Canvas content, blog posts, videography and photographs, assisting with design of visual assets such as presentations, reports and learning materials, and mentoring and overseeing work completed by intern teams.

**Responsibilities**:
Develop, maintain, and evaluate the Project’s online materials to ensure data integrity and compliance with ECU policies.
Create engaging materials to support project communication and professional development objectives, including copy and audiovisual content.
Collaborate with Project team members, partners, and stakeholders to develop and maintain print-based, media-based, and web-based materials to support project goals.
Participate in activities and assignments to support Project objectives and priorities.
Ensure compliance with ECU policies and practices, and maintain the safety and wellbeing of yourself and others.
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline OR equivalent level of expertise gained from experience, training, or professional accreditation.
Experience in design, development, testing, implementation, and support of resources using various media, including print, video, and web-based.
Strong customer focus with the ability to achieve quality outcomes for all parties.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work cooperatively with others.
Effective planning and organising skills, with the ability to manage time and resources efficiently.
Ability to investigate, identify, and analyse key issues to develop practical solutions.
You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry Personal Excellence and Courage.
Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, fixed term (to 31 March 2026) position attracts remuneration of $92,087 to $99,353 pa (HEW 6) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
