The Role
The Project and Communications Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the communication and implementation of ECU’s Curriculum Transformation Program.
A primary focus of this position is supporting the Program Manager to deliver several critical and interrelated streams of work. The role will include analysis, planning,, monitoring, scheduling and communication to support the policy, people, support and technology changes which will be implemented over the next 3 -5 years.
The position will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders and will embody and champion the program outcomes while exemplifying ECU’s core values: integrity, respect, courage, rational enquiry, and personal excellence. Key Criteria
Proven ability to work autonomously to deliver specific outcomes
Excellent attention to detail the ability to track and manage across a variety of areas including financials, risks, issues and dependency tracking.
Experience developing, updating and managing a range of communication channels.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working with stakeholders at multiple levels.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing structured support across a vast range of requests.
Experience with process mapping and project management tools desirable (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
Familiarity with one or more project/program management methodologies (such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, and MSP)
Advanced Office 365 skills.
Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, fixed-term position attracts remuneration of $100,512 to $112,622 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
