**About the Department of Education**:
The Department of Education (DoE) is committed to giving all children a great start and ensuring Queenslanders have the education and skills they need to contribute to the social, economic and cultural development of Queensland. As the Early Childhood Regulatory Authority, the department is responsible for regulating Queensland's early childhood education and care sector.
The Compliance team, within the Queensland Early Childhood Regulatory Authority, is responsible for ensuring that early childhood education and care providers and services in Queensland are compliant with the National Quality Framework.

**Your Role**:
**Responsibilities include**:

- Managing the implementation of consistent, transparent and robust regulatory practice in accordance with the principles of good administrative decision making and the ECEC legislation.
- Making complex decisions and providing advice to senior management on regulatory issues while considering the legal and policy implications.
- Overseeing recommendations and decisions as well as providing high quality guidance and training to the team to ensure quality, defensibility and consistency.

When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
