We’re currently seeking qualified and enthusiastic Disability Support Workers to support a dynamic participant in Junction Village. If you meet the criteria below, we’d love to hear from you.

**About the Role**

As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll provide essential support to a participant who is fun-loving, engaging, and enjoys:

- Sharing coffee and cheesecake during friendly chats.
- Outdoor workouts at the park.
- Connecting with animals and nature.
- Taking walks and spending time with their support team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Providing personal care with dignity and respect.
- Administering medications and managing seizures as required.
- Preparing healthy meals in line with the participant’s needs.
- Supporting outdoor and recreational activities.
- Building positive relationships and ensuring the participant’s overall well-being.

**Must-Haves**

To be eligible for this role, you’ll need:

- Certificate III or higher in Disability Support, Individual Support, or equivalent.
- Current CPR & First Aid Certificates.
- NDIS Screening Check.
- Completion of the NDIS Orientation Module.
- Manual Handling and Medication Administration Certificates.
- A valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle for commuting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with participants in a compassionate and respectful manner.
- **Pay rate: $39.00 per hour plus penalties.**

**What We’re Looking For**
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Compassionate and enthusiastic about providing quality care.
- Experienced with or willing to learn seizure management.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.

**How to Apply**

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
