**PERMITTING TEAM LEADER**
**Greenbushes Lithium Operation**
- Residential Full Time Position**About the Role**
Reporting to the Production Superintendent, the Permitting Team Leader manages the permitting team and the
developed verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills to be involved across various departments
within the business.
**Duties include**:
- Lead the Production Permitting team
- Managing all Permit to Work system documents such as Work Permits, Isolation procedures, records and
risk assessments to ensure that safe systems of work are maintained
- Liaising with Production, Maintenance, Commissioning and Projects teams to ensure permit to work
requirements are known and implemented
- Designing and executing scheduled shutdowns permitting requirements
- Assist with the day-to-day Isolation and PTW process
- Recognition of risks and potential risks and implementation of appropriate actions
- Conducting regular workplace inspections to ensure hazard controls are implemented and effective
- Identifying and implementing improvements to the permit to work system
- Notifying management of any non-conformances
- Staying up to date on regulatory changes for permit to work systems
- Assisting in training of site personnel
- Designing Electrical and Mechanical Isolations
- Incident investigations and developing new permits as required
**To be considered for this role you will have**:
- Understanding of current Mines, Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations, and any other legislation
applicable to the mining industry
- Significant experience with mining and processing operations
- Sound understanding of Permit to Work and Isolation requirements within a processing environment
- Thorough understanding of hazards associated with maintenance activities within a processing plant
- Experience with risk assessment processes
- Good knowledge of MS Office programs
- Ability to read and interpret Single Line Drawings
- Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety highly regarded but not essential
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessing highly regarded but not essential
- Accident & Incident Investigation
- Permit to work Issuer and Holder
