**About the Assignment**

Reporting to the Team Leader, JV Services, the primary objective of this position is to deliver quality and efficient transactional accounting and reporting services to our key stakeholders throughout the Business, including Group Finance, Group Taxation, Treasury, and Commercial.

On behalf of our key stakeholders this role will be accountable for;
- Prepare monthly Group Cash Reconciliation
- Provision of back-office support to Treasury function
- Prepare and lodge weekly excise returns via the ATO Portal
- Input non-operated Joint Venture accounts and reconcile results
- Generate and input Sales Invoices
- Data entry of hydrocarbon sales and purchase invoices into SAP
- Prepare and post actual and accrual journals
- Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare audit data as required
- Participate in process improvement projects across Finance
- Additional activities as required by the Team Leader - JV Services and Financial Controller

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will have the following key skills and experience:

- Qualifications in finance, commerce or accounting with CPA or CA
- Significant experience in financial roles within a complex commercial JV environment
- Advanced analytical skills in MS Excel
- High level experience in SAP, including journal generation and posting
- The ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance professionals
- Flexible, resilient, discreet, quick with thought, relaxed and able to adapt and think outside of the box
