We have a terrific opportunity for a highly experienced financial modelling analyst to join a growing global independent power producer based in Adelaide

Become part of an organisation who has extensive experience across developing, restructuring and financing in the area of power generation projects, as well as several technologies within the renewable energy industry.

**Accountabilities**:

- Support business development efforts in evaluating new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement statements & financial models from scratch for project financing.
- Determine key valuation parameters, perform sensitivity analysis necessary to evaluate project economics.
- Determine project debt sizing and modelling debt covenants.
- Consult closely with specialists in regards to updating pricing projections in financial models for the wholesale electricity and green products on a periodic basis.
- Work with wholesale market team to formulate new PPA and green products.
- Analyse and evaluate business performance against KPIs and quantify variances against budget, including any ad-hoc analysis.
- Support in the negotiation of key project agreements and coordination of due diligence during financial close.
- Support the team with the preparation of budget and investment memos for management/board approvals.
- Maintain and track market, legal and regulatory developments across the renewable energy sector.
- Prepare and coordinate regular updates and progress reports to Management.

**About You**:

- Tertiary qualification in one or both of the following areas: Business Management, Finance and or Engineering.
- CFA qualification.
- Masters of Business Administration desirable.
- At least 8 years experience in a similar role.
- Good understanding of the commercial and techno-economic aspects of power projects.
- High level of financial modelling experience.
- Strong Financial Modelling skills and knowledge of project finance concepts.
- Proficient with data analytics.
- Manage the M&A transaction negotiation and closing Process.
- Experienced across project finance concepts - debt sizing, cash flow waterfall, debt sculpting, DSCR covenants.
- Ability to perform project evaluation based on IRR/NPV/ROI.
- Sensitivity analysis.
