We have the opportunity for an experienced Broker Development Manager to join the team.
This is a full-time position based in Melbourne

**Your impact and contribution**
You will also:

- Ensure Great Southern Bank is well represented and promoted at State Based Development events and regular calling strategy to regional brokers to help extend Great Southern Banks reach to more customers to enable our purpose - helping all Australians to own their own home.
- The BDM is the primary contact to provide quick and efficient support to brokers regarding Great Southern Banks policy and process inquiries, including support on deal structuring and scenario questions.

**Your experience**
- 7+ years in banking/financial services
- Previous relevant experience in a similar role in the banking industry, with strong broker and aggregator networks
- Experience in all aspects of the residential home loans, with a strong understanding of credit assessment
- Demonstrated success in implementing structured call plans

**Your qualifications**
- Relevant lending qualifications
- Knowledge of financial services Codes and Acts

- Passionate about providing commercial support and business solutions
- Practical and tactical while keeping the big picture and organisational impact front of mind
- Able to think strategically to segment a large portfolio of brokers
- Highly organized, love working at pace and managing multiple priorities
- An exceptional communicator with strong business development skills
- A problem solver, always looking for the way something can be done
- Possess the skills to be able to coach and mentor brokers
