About the Job

Are you a dynamic and solutions focused Business/Continuous Improvement Professional looking to join a global ASX listed blue chip organisation and take the next step in your career?

This is a newly created role and requires a hands-on approach to drive business excellence and continuous improvement projects that improve the productivity of our assets and deliver value to our customers through a combination of process improvement and technology-based solutions. In this role you will work closely with multiple cross-functional teams to refine our processes and accelerate best practices across our supply chain network in APAC. Based at our brand-new Macquarie Park office, this role reports to the Senior Manager, Asset Productivity.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

- Identify value creation/optimisation opportunities to improve productivity
- Provide analytics and insights to support strategic and operational decision making, and in doing so, influence improved performance and commercial decisions
- Provide expertise and best practice solutions to local leadership teams to Identify key areas of risk and opportunity for improvement and deliver innovative solutions
- Provide solutions that help the customer effectively and efficiently manage CHEP assets, delivering value to the customer and improving their experience
- Represent APAC by providing input into the delivery of global projects, ensuring that the project delivers a product suitable for the APAC region
- Continuously evaluate systems and processes to improve business efficiencies

What will ensure your success:

- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Capability to challenge conventional thinking and introduce innovative ideas to solve complex problems
- Deep understanding of FMCG and or Retail supply chain in AU
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to drive informed decision making
- Demonstrate commercial acumen in areas of improving business performance
- Strong influencing skills and the capacity to manage ambiguity.
- Ability to create, deliver, plan, and implement objectives to meet strategic outcomes
- A collaborative approach with the ability to influence across all levels
- An Energetic self-starter who can drive initiatives and deliver change
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Finance, Logistics, or a related discipline
- Lean and Six Sigma certifications being advantageous
