Balgownie Estate is an award-winning property in the Yarra Valley, offering an array of event spaces and experiences. From private functions and multiday conferences to weddings and gala dinners, our property can cater for a variety of client needs. We are searching for an enthusiastic **casual** **Sales & Events Coordinator** to support with the coordination of weddings, conferences, and private event bookings at our stunning winery. This role involves guiding clients from initial enquiry through to event execution.

**The Role**:

- Support the sales team with wedding and event contracts, booking forms, and client correspondence.
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors to coordinate seamless event execution.
- Support with the creation of detailed run sheets and event orders.
- Conduct site inspections and host prospective clients on tours of the venue.
- Process deposits and payments in line with contract terms.
- Collaborate with kitchen, front-of-house, and operations teams to ensure client expectations are met.
- Assist in the coordination of special event days.
- Attend (on occasion) industry events, expos, and sales meetings to promote the venue.
- The role is casual.

**About You**:

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach.
- Knowledge and experience with Opera and MS Office advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure, problem-solve, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Full knowledge of conference layouts, AV requirements, and event setups.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Event Coordination or a qualification in Marketing, Events, or Communications.
- Reliable transport to Yarra Glen.
- Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating memorable experiences.
