Are you a highly skilled Tax Specialist with expertise in any of the following areas of Tax:
**Trusts**

**International Tax**

**Investigations**

**Law Interpretation**

**Investment Industry Strategy - Insurance/Investments/Superannuation**

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to work on challenging and complex tax-related issues to make a real impact in addressing harmful tax avoidance behaviours which contribute to the integrity of the tax system.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working across the areas of your specialism, you will work as part of high-performing teams to detect and investigate tax avoidance or evasion by taxpayers and their advisers who may adopt challenging behaviours.
- Utilize your tax knowledge and technical expertise to engage with stakeholders and influence them to develop and implement solutions that effectively address harmful tax avoidance behaviours.
- Analyze large volumes of data and information to detect risks and issues, providing insights that inform treatment strategies.
- Senior Tax Specialists may lead and provide strategic direction for the detection and investigation of tax avoidance by taxpayers and their advisers.
- Research and analyse information considering alternatives and identify effective solutions to address current and emerging issues

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
A strong background in taxation and specialist expertise in one or more of the following areas: Trusts, International Tax, Investment Industry Strategy, Law Interpretation, Investigations, GST, Not-for-profit, Transfer Pricing or Commercial Deals.

CA/CPA qualified or working towards. Masters of Tax highly regarded.

In-depth understanding of tax legislation, policies, and frameworks.

Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax-related information and identify risks and issues.

Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, enabling effective collaboration and cooperation.

Proven ability to work effectively in teams, contributing to a high-performance culture.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Demonstrated ability to lead and provide strategic direction (for Senior Tax Specialist roles)
