Great opportunity to contract within a local council and develop new skills in claims management

**THE ROLE**

This Sydney council has a great reputation for work-life balance are looking for an experienced claim's officer to work on a contract basis for 6 months. They will be paying above market rate due to the length of the assignment

**Your new role**

**Working as a Claim's officer you will be;**
- Handling end to end council claims (Public Liability, Property, Motor, Workers Comp)
- Liaising with Internal & External stakeholders to investigate liability
- Determining what information is needed to settle claim's
- Providing updates on claims progress

**What you'll need to succeed**

**To be successful as a Claims officer, you will have**:

- At least 5 years Claims experience
- Competency in Excel and Microsoft Office products is essential
- The ability to manage public liability claims
- Have a solid knowledge of general Insurance legislation and statutory framework
- Proven high level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills

**What you'll get in return**

- An above market rate of up to $45 - $50 p/h + Super (Negotiable)
