**The company**

You are looking at a highly ranked leader in the energy efficiency segment who are specialists in providing both carbon credit certificate creation, as well as supply of high end energy efficient products to our residential and commercial markets such as Hot Water Heat Pump, Air Con HVAC, Lighting and other products in the VEU & ESS.

- Provide the technical certificate creations and backend compliance directly to the regulator for their installations of heat pump, air-con, lighting plus much more.

**The position**

This role of a Compliance Manager is a key role working closely with the Directors and General Management, you will be overseeing Compliance for the creation of the carbon credit certificates that are produced by the company for all projects and will have support of a team of auditors & admin staff who will report to you.

Some key responsibilities will include:

- Manage the process of energy savings certificate creation
- Lodge certificates directly to the regulator
- Be the main point of contact for regulator communication
- Oversee day to day compliance of certificate creation
- Having full support from your team of admin & auditors
- Ensure accurate data, documents and information is collected
- Enhancing internal process, procedure and policy
- Ensuring certificate creation is correct and compliant
- Communicating with customers and clients if needed
- Ensuring quality assurance is followed and maintained
- Helping improve times frames, volumes and general processes
- Ensuring goals are met and maintained for certificate creation
- Respond to requests for compliance advice for incoming lodgements

**The experience necessary**

To be considered for this role you must have experience handling compliance and quality assurance of certificate creation in the energy schemes eg. VEU, ESS etc.

The main requirements are:

- Must have experience and knowledge of certificate creation
- Understanding of the administrative part of energy schemes
- Know the general requirements for evidence for certificates
- Understanding of regulator requirements
- Detail oriented and analytical skills
- Experience in quality assurance for checked and audited work
- Ability to collaborate and work with a team and staff
- Good communication skills to deal with customers
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Ability to stay abreast of industry regulations and expectations and rules set out from the governing bodies to meet compliance
- Computer and software skills
- Advantage to be exposed to heat pump, air conditioning, lighting, solar, hvac, ihd, heers, ipart, or other related parts of the energy scheme
