This large and independent insurance agency holds a prominent position in the market and is experiencing rapid growth. A newly created role has arisen for a dynamic and experienced compliance and risk professional to join as Compliance Manager.
In this high impact role and reporting to the COO, you will manage compliance and risk functions through an important phase in the organisation’s life cycle. You will hit the ground running as you develop, implement and maintain frameworks, policy and procedures with regard to compliance and will be responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of the group’s compliance and risk management functions, which currently includes supporting two Australian Financial Services Licenses. You will also engage with senior stakeholders as well as externally with the regulators as you manage the compliance and risk functions through this important period.
You will be an experienced compliance professional with financial services experience, ideally gained within insurance although this is not essential, and you will have at least three years’ experience within compliance, risk management or audit roles. A Bachelor’s degree in finance, law, business management or related studies is desirable. You will have exceptional organisational and time management skills and a proven ability to prioritise tasks within a diverse business.
