A bit about your role

The General Manager Fixed Line will steward the end-to-end delivery of the Fibre Upgrade program further extending Australia's digital backbone into communities across Australia. The role will govern a best-in-class project capability to ensure effective and efficient delivery of all build related activities and oversee the delivery of strategies and operating plans to meet key strategic and business objectives.

The role requires a people-oriented leader who can inspire, develop and lead a team ensuring an effective, engaged and high performing team culture and creating a compelling vision for the team which aligns to nbn’s purpose and strategy.

A bit about you

If this sounds like the role for you then it is likely you will hold significant experience as a leader in the deployment of large telecommunications or infrastructure projects. Ideally, you’ll possess program management, business management or reporting experience, working across large teams to deliver against a diverse portfolio of responsibilities.

You exhibit experience managing financial and operational aspects of a business, as well as maintaining effective project governance. You are skilled in ensuring the focus of delivery is maintained across all customer objectives, guaranteeing the project delivery is efficient and effective across all market and project demand areas of work.

You are an exceptional communicator with the natural ability to collaborate and influence with stakeholders at all levels. You have the ability to contribute as a senior leader to strategies, plans and decision making across the entire group, taking a broader leadership perspective beyond your immediate area of responsibility and expertise.
