**About the role**
We have an opportunity for a **Multicultural Community Liaison Officer** (MCLO) to be part of our Central Met Region, Eastern Beaches Police Area Command. The Multicultural Community Liaison Officer is responsible for providing advice and support in the management of multicultural issues for NSWPF. They establish and maintain close personal rapport, implement strategies to engage and work effectively with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities and influence responsive and sensitive service delivery to these communities.
Applicants **must **hold a current driver’s licence with no traffic offences recorded on their driving history within the last six (6) months or NSW Police Force Bronze Certification.
**A Working With Children Check (WWCC) is a prerequisite for this role.**

**Target Question 1**:
Supporting Police to deliver services that are responsive to the needs and expectations of the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities is paramount int this role. Using examples from your own work experience, explain how you would work with communities from cultural and/or language backgrounds, especially those that might be resistant to working with police.
**Target Question 2**:
Demonstrate techniques you have used to build rapport and maintain close relationships with multiple stakeholders to address emerging issues within the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities. Provide an example of an identified issue and resolution.
