Bungalow Building Co. has been designing + constructing beautiful, high-quality homes for awesome families in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs for over 15 years. We're a dynamic and growing residential building company with a reputation for excellence in renovations, extensions, and new builds — and now, we're looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Administrator to join our team in a full-time role at our Maroubra office.

The Role:

This is a diverse and rewarding role supporting both our office and on-site operations. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Financial & Payroll Management: Weekly payroll in Xero, BAS/IAS support, tax compliance
  • Minimum 3+ years experience with Xero accounting software for payroll processing
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Invoicing, reconciliations, and supplier management
  • Banking & Cash Flow: Managing transactions, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Project Budgeting & Tracking: Using Buildertrend to keep budgets and POs on track
  • Team & Site Support: Timeclock, job site logs, and labour allocation
  • Client & Trade Liaison: Building strong relationships with clients and trusted trades
  • Fleet Management: Coordinating vehicle servicing, registrations, and insurance
  • Apprenticeship Support: Assisting apprentices and liaising with training providers
What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar administrative role, ideally in construction or trades
  • 3+ years bookkeeping or accounting experience for financial management, payroll and tax compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and confidence troubleshooting basic IT issues
  • Experience with Buildertrend or similar construction/project management software (ideal, but not essential)
  • Resourcefulness - a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
