About the Role

Responsibilities include:
Develop, implement and maintain standards, guidelines and knowledge base articles for database installation, administration and support while ensuring compliance to change control processes, relevant industry standards, government and departmental policies.
Report and maintain statistical and historical metrics to measure and monitor service delivery.
Provide consultancy to programmers to assist in the optimisation of development databases.

About You:
You will ideally have a minimum 8 years' proven experience in developing and designing MSBI solutions, with some experience in leading a small to mid sized team. Any experience in SQL Database and system administration is good to have.
You will ideally have experience in designing, developing, testing reports using business intelligence practises and technologies with some experience leading a small to mid-sized team.
An advocate for best practices and business process optimisation and improvement to support the business and Corporate clients within the Department of Education.
Effective communicator and collaborator, able to work closely with the development team,DBA, functional analysts, and business stakeholders to support the departmental initiatives.
Desirable if you have a degree or post graduate qualification in information technology.
Desirable if you have some experience in database and system administration.
