- VCAT is seeking a service oriented, highly organised Case Officer to work as part of a team within our Human Rights Division
**About us**
VCAT is seeking service oriented, highly organised individual to fill this role within the Human Rights Division (HRD). The Case Officer will be part of a team dedicated to providing greater access to justice, quality customer centric services and timely outcomes.
The Human Rights Division hears cases under the Guardianship and Administration Act 2019, Medical Treatment Planning and Decisions Act 2016, Powers of Attorney Act 2014, Equal Opportunity Act 2010, Health Records Act 2001, Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014, Disability Act 2006, Mental Health Act 2014 and other relevant legislation. The successful applicant will have an opportunity to make a genuine contribution by delivering effective and efficient guardianship and human rights services to the community of Victoria.

- Experience in a community or government service delivery environment working within a legislative framework
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers to understand service needs
- Demonstrated ability to process high volumes of complex information with efficiency and accuracy
- Exceptional self-management, planning and organisational skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team
- Experience working with people who are at risk or have complex needs.
