**The role**: Leverage your strategic planning, leadership and advisory skills to enhance security operations management whilst supporting the Director Cyber Security and CISO in the development and execution of state-wide Cyber Defence strategies. Your responsibilities will include:

- Lead and manage delivery and ongoing operation of Cyber Defence functions including Cyber Security Operations Centre, Cyber Defence Intelligence, Cyber Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, Cyber Defence Tools & Engineering and Cyber Defence Outreach
- Manage Queensland Health's 24/7 Cyber Security Operations Centre
- Oversee and manage the coordination of Whole of Government security responses and national and industry engagement
- Oversee and manage the engineering and operating Cyber Defence technologies such as SIEM, Endpoint Protection etc.
- Plan / direct all administrative, financial and operational activities
- Lead and manage a specialist team, developing a culture that assists Queensland health's adoption of sound information and security risk practices.
