**Admission Officer (Full-time position)**

SOL Edu and Migration is a leading International Education and Migration company founded in 2002 in Brisbane, Australia. With a global presence, SOL Edu has assisted approximately 40,000 international students in pursuing their study in Australia and New Zealand, while also helping more than 5000 clients to successfully arrive, stay and/or migrate to these two countries.

SOL Edu is headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. However, we have expanded our business operation globally by establishing five physical offshore offices in Bangkok (Thailand), Thimphu (Bhutan), Seoul (Korea), Auckland (New Zealand) and Christchurch (New Zealand). The offshore offices allow us to enhance the SOL Edu brand name in these promising markets and help us directly provide education and visa services to offshore students.

**Position overview**

High level of English proficiency (both verbal and in writing) and attention to details are required.

**About the position**
- Assess each applicant and decide whether they are a good fit for admissions to Australian institutions
- Understand each institutions admission policy and guide Education counsellors throughout admission process
- Process students’ course-related requests including extension, deferral, cancellations or other general enquiries to Australian institutions on behalf of counsellors
- Communicate with colleagues in an open and efficient way to update admission progress / progress
- Maintain proper and comprehensive records and documentations as per SOL Edu system
- Assist with general office duties such as answering incoming enquiries or phone calls
- Being reliable and responsible
- Making constructive suggestions
- Listening to and taking suggestions from others in a positive way
- Respecting differences with cultural awareness Other tasks as directed

**Experience and skills**
- Experience in administration tasks and customer service
- Work experience in education agencies preferred
- Understanding admission process for English school, VET school, Universities in Australia (Desired, not compulsory)
- Understanding Australian student visa system  (Desired, not compulsory)
- Work under pressure
- Excellent attention to details
- Communication skills, both verbal and written communication
- High level of English competency
- Time management skills
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Experience in using client management systems

**Qualifications**
- Graduates higher education courses at Australian universities (Desired, not compulsory)
- Or proven equivalent work experience or overseas qualifications

**How to apply**

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brisbane City, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
