**Who are we looking for?**

We are seeking a HDR Operations Officer, Admission and Scholarships to join Office of Research Services, Research Portfolio, Academic Division.

We're seeking an experienced University administrator to join our busy admissions and scholarships team. In your role you will be assisting with the establishment and enrolment of commencing students, as well as with scholarship management. We're seeking a team player who has experience in working autonomously as part of a large team

**About the area**

Office of Research Services sits within the Research Portfolio, Academic Division and is responsible for The Graduate Research Centre provides exceptional service and support to our Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students. Through the provision of tailored support services, the GRC puts the student at the centre of all that we do, striving to exceed the expectations of our HDR students and supervisors from admission through to graduation..

**What you need to succeed**
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree with subsequent relevant experience.
- Sound understanding of QUT’s HDR admission policies and their impact on research training and supervision in relation to specific admissions/enrolments issues as well as in general.
- Sound experience in operationalising external and internal HDR policies and procedures within a client-focused postgraduate administration environment, including interpretation of complex issues and provision of specialised advice.
- Excellent knowledge of the broad administrative processes of HDR student administration.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and digital literacy including the ability to successfully utilise word processing software, spreadsheets and large corporate databases such as TechnologyOne’s Student Management Solution.
