About the Role
Are you an experienced hospitality professional seeking a meaningful role where you can make a real difference in people's lives? Look no further than Baptcare's Residential Operations team in Melbourne.
As our Hospitality Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the seamless day-to-day operations of our residential care facilities, providing an exceptional hospitality experience for our residents. This is a vital role that will see you collaborate closely with our dedicated nursing and care teams to create a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Overseeing the delivery of exceptional hospitality services, including catering, cleaning, laundry, and maintenance
- Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
- Managing a team of hospitality staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture
- Liaising with residents, families, and other stakeholders to understand and address their needs
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the resident experience

**To succeed in this role, you'll need**:
Certificate IV in Catering/Hospitality.
Relevant and current Industry training in food safety
Significant experience in a senior hospitality operations management position, ideally within the aged care or healthcare sector
A deep understanding of hospitality standards and best practices
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a genuine commitment to person-centered care
Relevant qualifications in hospitality, business, or a related field
