About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Operations Manager to oversee and support the Baptcare Hospitality In-house model and general operations across Baptcare homes.
This role supports both inhouse and outsourced operations including Catering, Cleaning, Laundry and Housekeeping teams. The role includes enforcing food safety awareness, and compliance, supporting RCSM’s, chef managers and the hospitality teams in day-to-day operations. The role takes charge of a selection of Residential Aged Care Facilities, Retirement Living, and other associated businesses such as Cafes and community care.
About You
We are currently looking for motivated and passionate Hospitality Operations Manager to lead and support the Residential Operations team.
You will be friendly, caring, and resilient. A true professional who genuinely wants the best for your clients.
Relevant and current Industry training in food safety.
Certificate IV in Catering/Hospitality.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse hospitality teams effectively.
Proven ability to improve employee satisfaction and retention, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Demonstrated experience in developing relationships with both internal and external clients.
Previous experience in food safety compliance, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and effectively managing budgets to achieve financial targets in a complex operational setting.
A strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, possessing comprehensive compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and HACCP guidelines.
Comprehensive understanding to catering P&Ls, stock control, COG, and roster management.
Ability to drive innovation in catering services through the integration of industry trends and the implementation of cost saving measures, contributing to the continuous improvement of service quality.
Previous experience and working knowledge of menu planning, ordering and special diet preparation highly desirable.
Good verbal and written communication and basic computer skills.
