As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our café’s operations, including staff management, customer service, and day-to-day activities. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards our customers expect and ensuring that the café operates efficiently and profitably. This role requires flexibility and a commitment to working weekends and public holidays.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage daily operations of the café, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and cleanliness.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of baristas, kitchen staff, and servers, fostering a positive work environment.
- Create staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times, including weekends and public holidays.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships to ensure stock availability.
- Oversee cash handling, banking, and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures.
- Implement and maintain health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Drive sales and profitability through effective marketing, promotions, and exceptional customer service.
- Analyze sales and performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for growth.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, with a minimum of [X] years in café or restaurant management.
