Our client is a leader in the superannuation field. Due to growth, they are seeking an junior to mid level, Information Security Consultant to join their team for a 6 month contract to assist security related work under the direction and guidance of the Senior Security Officer.

Core Responsibilities:

- A commitment to stakeholders who expect their data and personal information to be protected.
- Performing the assessments and providing recommendations to the Senior Security Officer for Product / Vendor Security Reviews / Assessments - both new and existing vendors, as required.
- Performing threat feed assessments and assessing the patching / mitigating controls available and required for when new vulnerabilities are announced
- Delivering specific technical security uplift items at the direction of the Senior Security Officer.
- Certifications in Cloud based platforms
- Experience with security implementations in cloud-based platforms (Azure desirable)
- Tertiary qualification in a technology or business discipline
- Personal drive, strong sense of accountability and results driven.
- Strong experience and capability in leading change and engaging with key stakeholders and teams to be part of the change
- Strong sustainable stakeholder and relationship skills.
- Security vendor management experience.
- Experience in the management of vendors in the provision of IT security services
- Strong people skills and influencing skills.
- Strong customer service and excellent communication skills.
- An understanding of ITIL principles

Our cient has a Melbourne CBD based office however a hybrid work arrangement is on offer.
