**The Company**

Our client is a leading listed infrastructure provider, maintaining and operating critical components of Australia's utilities architecture.

To keep pace with the constantly evolving information security landscape, the business is seeking a talented information security consultant to review and uplift its cyber maturity alongside senior stakeholders and external partners.

The firm has slick offices in the heart of Melbourne city with a vibrant team culture. The company respects that quality work is quality work no matter where it is performed and offers a flexible work-from-home roster with only 2 days mandatory in the office per week.

**The Role**

This role is a six-month contract role with scope to extend. This role will involves working with senior stakeholders as they look to uplift the businesses information security controls and cyber maturity. Your role will include but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

- Review third-party vendor management frameworks
- Implement external audit recommendations
- Perform a comprehensive internal audit, reviewing and updating information security controls in line with modern frameworks (ISO270001)
- Conduct risk impact assessments (BIA/RIA)
- Assist with the development of Disaster Recovery Plans
- Assist with the design of cyber incident procedures

**Your Profile**
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Cyber/Technology or adjacent fields
- 5+ years experience in information security roles is preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Partnering effectively with senior stakeholders will be crucial for success in this role
- Exposure to modern cybersecurity frameworks and best practice
