WYN&CO Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an
**Information Security Advisor** working with a leading public infrastructure and asset management company based in Melbourne.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES.**
- Develop, implement, and improve the processes and documentation associated with the Information Security Management System (ISMS) to ISO 27001 and VPDSS requirements.
- Conduct and organise internal audits of the ISMS and maturity assessments of the ISMS.
- Maintain and follow-up on technical and governance remediation registers and raise change requests and managing change for assurance activities.
- Performing Information Security Remediation actions such as planning and maintaining the annual ISMS Upgrade Plan, Technical Remediation Register and Governance Remediation Register
- Performing Security Awareness activities including planning and run Phishing campaigns, security awareness articles and security training.
- Supporting Information Security Compliance, Risk Management and Operational activities including reporting to stakeholders, conduct risk assessment and maintaining Risk Reister.

**EXPERIENCE.**
- 5-10 years’ experience in Information Security Management and auditing.
- Successfully develop, implement, enforce, audit, and continuously improve information security governance frameworks/systems work.
- Experience developing and implementing information security frameworks.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant security frameworks and policies, including Victorian Protective Data Security Framework (VPDSF) and Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) guidance tools.
- Experience in disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Understanding Risk Management frameworks such as NIST 800, ISO 27005 and ISO 31000.
- Sound understanding of information security and its relationship to organisational risk and enterprise architecture.
- Experience in participating in consultative mechanisms, including user groups.

**SKILLS.**
- Skills in a variety of Cyber Security tasks within high level technical and governance.
- Technically capable of understanding how networks and systems interact with each other and security controls applicable to them.
- Experience using Microsoft Defender and Purview.
- Strong communication (verbal & written) with stakeholders to ensure task prioritisation meet delivery deadlines.
- Ability to identify information security requirements, implement and audit systems of work and recommend mitigations to address information security incidents and hazards.
- Experience customer engagement skills, including resolving issues, increasing customer satisfaction, and negotiating resolution skills with stakeholders (internal & external).
- Skilled defining and facilitating implementation of information security monitoring, reporting and communication.
